Press Release From: Cyber COAST
August 26, 2019 – Cyber COAST LLC, an innovator in the cyber security instrumentation market, announced a contract for the Department of the Air Force for the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The award—administered by the U.S. Air Force’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Broad Agency—was sent to Cyber COAST for a feasibility study to adopt the Battle Stations application to the Air Force mission.
Cyber COAST‘s bid was one of more than on thousand entries vetted through the application process. This contract is hailed as clear market validation for Cyber COAST and the innovative technology it has developed.
Christian Sorensen, Cyber COAST’s President and Managing Director, said “cybersecurity is broken; we’ve proven it. Battle Stations provides, for the first time, the ability to use that proof to improve technology and personnel. Enabling cyber operators to “Train Where They Fight” is a game-changer in the industry.”
The contract for Cyber COAST’s feasibility study of Battle Stations was in response to the company’s submission under the Air Force open topic SBIR.
The contract proposal includes upcoming prototypes with units around the Air Force. These prototypes will validate the applicability to military units and integration with partner and military infrastructure. Results from these prototypes will provide justification for follow-on procurement from the government.
